IBBA Workshop on high-value products from biogas systems

IBBA (Inter Baltic Biogas Arena) organises workshop on different topic areas within the biogas field. The purpose is to create networking between researchers and company representatives within the growing biogas sector in the Baltic region, in a smaller group of 40-70 participants.

The 5th IBBA Workshop will cover topics dealing with high-value products from biogas systems – nutrient extraction and biorefinery approaches.

This year’s topic is high-value products from biogas systems, with a special focus on nutrient extraction, but also including other biorefinery approaches. Extracting the nutrients from the digestate is the next logical step in making biogas treatment of waste and other kinds of biomass more flexible in terms of placement and creating a more viable economy.

Sponsors and exhibitors have set aside time to showcase their products and services! In addition, there is ample time for networking, including a special speed dating session where participants have up to 6 8-minute-meetings with each other, according to their preregistered choices.

The second complementary half day give you a chance to take a closer look at the Poznań Food2Waste2Food pilot plant, and visit the city’s WWTP, where sludge is co-digested with industrial food waste.
